Adams Farm Slaughterhouse is dedicated to working with and for livestock farmers in New England and New York and has been doing so since 1946.
We work to provide the best service possible at a reasonable cost that is affordable for our customers, but cover the cost of running a slaughterhouse in Massachusetts. With our commitment to providing high quality affortable service, the last year has been increasingly difficult with the drop in the hide and rendering market income, which was previously used to subsidize other services to customers.
Beef:
- Beef dressed $120 plus hide (if you take your hide back there will be a $50 charge)
- Beef kill only $185 plus hide (all kill only are tested for E.Coli 0157H7, before beef leaves AF) (if you take your hide back there will be a $50 charge)
- Beef cut & packaged $ 1.25 per lb. hanging weight.
- Beef boneless primal cut and packaged $ .90 per lb. (we will decide if you fall in this pricing)
- Beef bone-in primal cut and packaged $ .95 per lb. (we will decide if you fall in this pricing)
- Beef dressed & quartered $175 plus hide (if you take your hide back there will be a $50 charge)
Bison:
- Bison dessed $210
- Bison kill only $260 plus hide (all kill only are tested for E.Coli 0157H7, before beef leaves AF) (if you take your hide back there will be a $50 charge)
- Bison cut & packaged $ 1.25 per lb. hanging weight.
- Bison boneless primal cut and packaged $ .90 per lb. (we will decide if you fall in this pricing)
- Bison bone-in primal cut and packaged $ .95 per lb. (we will decide if you fall in this pricing)
Veal:
- Veal dressed $85
- Veal kill only $130 (all kill only are tested for E.Coli 0157H7, before veal leaves AF)
- Veal cut & packaged $ 1.25 per lb. hanging weight.
Pig:
- Pig dressed $75, if pig dresses over 200 lbs. there is an extra $ .25 per lb. over 200 lbs.
- Pig kill only $88, if pig dresses over 200 lbs. there is an extra $ .25 per lb. over 200 lbs.
- Sow & Boars dressing over 300 lbs. $125, if pig dresses over 300 lbs. there is an extra $ .25 per lb. over 300 lbs.
- Sow & Boars kill only dessing over 300 lbs. $155, if pig dresses over 300 lbs. there is an extra $ .25 per lb. over 300 lbs.
- Pig cut & vacuum packaged $1.25 per lb. hanging weight.
- Pig primal cut $ .90 per lb. hanging weight. (we decide if you fall in this pricing)
- Smoking $ 2.50 per lb. dried weight. (Includes slicing)
Lamb & Goat:
- Lamb & Goat dressed $60
- Lamb kill only $70
- Lamb & Goat cut & vacuum packaged $ 1.35 per lb. hanging weight.
- Lamb & Goat primal cut $1.05 per lb. hanging weight.
- Saving hides is an additional fee of $5 per hide
Labeling:
- $ .10 per lb. hanging weight of animal. Larger labels that are required $ .12 lb
Sausage:
- Linked sausage $2.30 per lb. There is a minimum of 25 lbs. for linking.
- (Regular Flavors: Breakfast, Hot Italian, Sweet Italian, Fresh Kielbasa, Brown Sugar with Maple, Cajun)
- Specialty Linked sausage: French Apple, Basil or Jalapeno w/Chipotle $2.70 per lb.
There is a minimum of 25 lbs. for linking. - Specialty Bulk sausage: French Apple, Basil or Jalapeno w/Chipotle $ 1.00 per lb. on flavors. There is a minimum of 25 lbs.
Extras:
- (We do not charge extra for patties or packaging into boxes)
- We are not responsible for smoked meats left in freezer after 7 days of notification that it is ready.
- We will take ownership of any product left in our freezers for more than 6 months.
- Product left in our freezers more than 4 weeks will be charged a storage fee of $50 dollars for the first month, then $10 for every day following.
- Unpaid invoices will be charged 3% interest per month.
- Splitting of beef more than in half's is an extra $25 per beef (we do not do quarts for Lamb or Pork)
- If cutting instructions are not submitted by 10am on the Friday of the week animals arrive there is a late cut sheet fee of $50.

Drop Off:
- Beef Sunday's 8am-noon
- Pork Wednesday's 8am-3pm
- Lamb/Goats Wednesday's 8am-3pm
PICK UP OF USDA PROCESSED MEATS
- Mon-Fri 8am – 4pm
No Pickups after 4pm - Saturday 8am to Noon
- CLOSED SUNDAY
Sorry we do not process poultry or wild game.
IMPORTANT:
To accomodate all customers, we need to have cutting sheets within a couple of days from the time the animals are brought in.
While we make every effort to cut the meat to your specifications, if you do not give us your cut sheet within a couple of days, you may be subject to a fee.
